Arnold Dow Parro

Arnold Dow Parro was born October 31, 1926. He was united in marriage to Emma Jane Johnston on June 2, 1951.Mr. Parro formerly owned and operated two family restaurants in Selmer; Circle Drive-In and Twin Oaks. He also served in the National Guard for 20 years. Mr. Parro kept a great sense of humor until the last, and lived life to the fullest. He loved all animals and fed homeless ones. Mr. Parro departed this life on August 28, 2009 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 9 Months, 28 Days. He is survived by his wife Emma Jane (Johnston) Parro of Bethel Springs, TN; a daughter, Paula Jane Plunk and husband Tim of Bethel Springs, TN; and a granddaughter, Lindsay Plunk of Bethel Springs, TN. Mr. Parro was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Belle (Graham) Dillon and husband Grover. The family requests that you remember Mr. Parro by feeding and caring for the animals that he so loved.
