ARTHUR WILLIAMSHenderson, TN: Arthur Wilson Williams, age 89, died March 16, 2009 at Chester County Healthcare.He was born and reared in Chester County, Henderson, the son of the late Doc and Molly Cochran Williams. He attended school in Chester County and graduated from Chester County High School. He was married to Mary Louise Allen of Jackson in 1942. He entered the U.S. Air Force in 1942, stationed in London, England. He was a gunner on a B24 Bomber and was fighting on D-Day. He returned to Henderson in 1945. They made their home in Henderson and Memphis. He loved to read all types of books. Mr. Williams was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.He was survived by a son, Ken Williams of Houston, TX and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Allen Williams in 1988 and a daughter, Helen Brooks in 1987.
