Audrey Faye Inman, age 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 6, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and devotion to her family. Born May 10, 1939, in McNairy County, Tennessee, to Sudie Arnie Murry, Audrey spent her life nurturing her home and those she loved. At the tender age of 16, she married her beloved husband, Eldon Thomas Inman, and together they built a beautiful life. Audrey embraced her role as a homemaker with immense pride, dedication, and grace, creating a warm and welcoming haven for her husband and their two children, Jan and Freddie.
Audrey possessed a remarkable talent for making things beautiful. She had a true passion for working in her flower garden, bringing vibrant life and color to her surroundings. Her creative talents shone brightly through her skill as an exceptional seamstress; she meticulously sewed her own home curtains and had a special knack for interior decorating. Her family fondly remembers her incredible attention to detail, which extended to hand-crafting beautiful, intricate clothing for Barbie dolls. Audrey was also a woman of steadfast faith and a longtime supporter of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eldon Thomas Inman; her son, Freddie Inman; her brother, Terry Murry; her sister, Jane Griffis; and her son-in-law, Steve Hatmaker Sr. Her memory will be forever cherished by her surviving family: her daughter, Jan Hatmaker of Olive Branch, MS; her grandchildren, Steve Hatmaker Jr., Hailey Hatmaker, Amanda Hatmaker, Cheryl Seymour, Monica Baker, and T.J. Inman; her brothers, John Thomas Murry, Randy Murry, and Charles Wilson; her sisters, Jean Luna, Joan Rhodes, Carolyn Minks, Brenda Lowery, and Marilyn Underwood; as well as several beloved great-grandchildren and extended family members. Audrey's gentle spirit, creative touch, and deep love for her family will be missed beyond measure by all who knew her.
