Audrey Stanfield, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, was born on July 13, 1941, in Ramer, TN, to the late Lester L. and Jewell Dee McCullar Stanfield. After a lifetime of dedication and hard work, she departed this world on January 7, 2026, in Corinth, Mississippi, at the age of 84 years, 5 months, and 25 days.
Audrey devoted a significant part of her life to her work, dedicating her talents at the Brown Shoe Factory until its closing and transitioning to Jetricks until its closure. She retired from Selmer Apparel.
As a cherished member of the Antioch Church of Christ in Ramer, TN, her warm presence and spirit touched the lives of many. She was not just known for her commitment to her faith but also for her talent in the kitchen. A wonderful cook, she created cherished memories with her famous duck dressing and teacakes, lovingly stored in an ice cream bucket for her grandchildren. Her homemade rolls, cakes, and pies were a testament to her cooking talents.
She was also an avid gardener, spending countless hours tending to her beloved plants. She found joy and beauty in every bloom, even rising at midnight to witness her Christ in the Cradle plant blossom. Her green thumb was legendary; there was scarcely a plant that she couldn’t nurture and watch flourish.
Miss Stanfield is survived by her loving son, James Arnold Stanfield and his wife Charlotte of Ramer, TN. She takes great pride in her two grandsons, Rodney Stanfield and his wife Amber, and Randy Stanfield and his wife Molly, all of Ramer, TN. She was a doting great grandmother to five special little ones: Hunter Stanfield, John Luke Stanfield, Allie Stanfield, Reed Stanfield, and Parker Calton; her brother, Jerry Stanfield and wife Betty of Pocahontas, TN; along with a host of extended family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Miss Stanfield legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Antioch church of Christ, PO Box 185, Ramer TN 38367.
