Bablin Smith

Bablin Dempsey Smith was born April 1, 1962 in Memphis, TN the daughter of the late Arthur Holbert Jack and Norma Jean Perry Dempsey. She departed this life on October 27, 2021 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 59 Years, 6 Months, 26 Days.

She attended Believer's Church in Selmer, Tennessee when she was able. She was a great Christian woman. 

She is survived by two daughters, Melissa Gibbons of Selmer, TN, Melody Dougherty and husband Thomas of Memphis, TN; five grandchildren: Michael, Aston, Olivia, Austin and Ian; two sisters, Donna Huntley of Finger, TN, Christine Barett and husband Bill of Buford, GA; a brother, Bruce Jack and wife of Memphis, TN; niece, Terrilyn Huntley; nephew, Billy Gereau and wife Lauria; husband, William Smith of Henderson, TN; numerous great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by two brothers, Don Jack and Paul Lee Gaines; and a nephew, Gary Campbell.

Celebration of Life will be held on November 7, 2021 from 2-4 pm held at the Believer's Church in Selmer, TN. Thanks to Legacy Hospice specially nurse Valerie, Corinth Medical Center and HMC Health & Rehabilitation Center in Savannah for all the care and kindness shown to her.
