Barbara Isabelle (Nana) Baxter

Barbara Isabelle (Nana) Baxter was born January 15, 1934 in Joliet, IL.

Miss Baxter was a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church in Selmer, Tennessee. She also attended Mt. Sharon Presbyterian and most recently Christian Assembly United Pentecostal Church in Adamsville, TN.

Nana loved all of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many of their friends. She was always "Nana" to every child.

Miss Baxter departed this life on November 8, 2016 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 9 Months, 24 Days. She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Lynn (Baxter) Tears and husband Donald of Adamsville, TN, Nancy Ann Baxter of Adamsvile, TN; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Holmes of Florida; six grandchildren, Jason D. Carter and wife Amanda of Manchester, TN, Rhonda D. Anglin and husband Alan of Stantonville, TN, Dirk B. Tears and wife Emily of Adamsville, TN, Annielyn Null of Florence, MS, Barbara Geanne Labossiere of Savannah, TN, Joyce Knott and husband Tim of Seminole, FL; sixteen great grandchildren, Matthew, Abigail, and Iyan Jaco, Deven Anglin, Katie and Sarah Tears, Greyson and Madison Carter, Gabby Labossiere, Katelyn, Dalton, and Alex Anglin, Corianna Dilworth, Shaunna Raub, Rebekah Knott and Timothy Knott Jr.; nieces, Terri Kirby, Deborah Holmes Hickman, Sharon Holmes Kuhner, and Holly Holmes; nephew, Allen Holmes, Jr.; special family friend, Bo Carlile.

Miss Baxter was preceded in death by a two sisters, Nancy Kirby and Jean Holmes Doyle; two brothers, Phillip Holmes and Allen Holmes; a brother in law, Alan Kirby; and two grandchildren, Jacob Tears and Arianna Dilworth.
