Barbara Louise Qualls Brewer of Collinwood, TN was born May 29, 1947 in Truman, Arkansas, the daughter of the late William Elmer and Dorcie Martin Qualls. She was united in marriage to James Hershel Brewer on July 3, 1965.
Mrs. Brewer was a retired cafeteria cook at Collinwood Middle School and was a member of the Collinwood Church of God.
Mrs. Brewer departed this life on May 21, 2011 at her home at the age of 63 Years, 11 Months, 22 Days.
She is survived by her husband, James Hershel Brewer; sons, James Anthony Brewer and wife, Jancie and Kenny Wayne Brewer and wife, Michele all of Collinwood, TN; daughter, Tosha Lynn Stricklin and husband, Jason of Rogersville, AL; grandchildren, Megan, Jamie Ann, Jace, and Kassidy Brewer, Alyssa and Caleb Stricklin; brothers, Roger Qualls of Jonesboro, AR, Robert Qualls of Iron City, TN; sisters, Bernice Wiley of Truman, AR, Diane Holley of Lake City, AR; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 2 PM at Collinwood Church of God, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Richard Neal, Butch Kephart, and Jimmy Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson Cemetery, Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro, TN directing. Pallbearers will be Mark Brewer, Eddie Brewer, Tim Brewer, Dwayne Brewer, Shawn Hill, and Michael Clanton.
