Barbara Ann Brock

Barbara Ann Brock was born June 9, 1941 in Selmer, TN the daughter of the late Clifford and Verble Howell Nixon.

She was united in marriage to Naythail Brock on July 7, 1962. Mr. Brock preceded her in death on December 31, 1995 following 33 years of marriage.

Mrs. Brock was employed in the garment industry as a production worker for 25 plus years. She also worked as a sales associate for B & R Junk Store before retiring. Growing and caring for her flowers, knitting, crocheting, and watching "Wheel of Fortune" were some of her favorite pastimes. She loved her cats, Tom and Jerry, her dog Gomer Pyle, and her cockatiels. Mrs. Brock was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bethel Springs.

Mrs. Brock departed this life on August 9, 2020 in Henderson, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 2 Months. She is survived by a son, Joe Nathan Brock and wife Marylon of Selmer, TN; three grandchildren: Dawn Garner, Nathan Garner, and Jill Brock; a step-grandchild, Nick Everret; four great-grandchildren: Jayden Wilson, Braylon Wilson, Rylee Garner, and Kenzley Wilson; two sisters, Dot Wilson and husband Clyde of Bethel Springs, TN and Donna Forsythe of Selmer, TN; a daughter-in-law, Carla Garner of Selmer, TN; and many extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Brock was preceded in death by a son, Tony Garner, and a sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Bill Beavers.
