Barbara Jo Brown

Barbara Jo Brown was born June 11, 1939 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Paul and Erma Derryberry Turner.She was united in marriage to Wendell Ray Brown, who preceded her in death on December 17, 1983.Mrs. Brown was a production worker for 43 years at ITT in Corinth, MS. After her retirement, she worked a variety of jobs and always kept busy. She was a lifelong member of the Chewalla Baptist Church.Mrs. Brown departed this life on October 5, 2009 at her daughter's home in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 3 Months, 24 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Wendy Weatherford and husband Winfred of Selmer, TN; two grandchildren, Jacob Weatherford and Molly Weatherford, both of Selmer, TN; a sister, Pauline Monroe and husband Charles of Tampa, FL; a nephew, Charles Monroe, Jr.; a niece, Tammy Monroe; and a host of extended family and friends.
