Barbara Ann Holden Cooper

Barbara Ann Holden Cooper was born on August 23, 1942 in Fayette County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Herman Lee and Myrtle Rogers Holden.

On May 17, 1959, she was united in marriage to Bobby Gene Cooper, who preceded his wife in death on February 13, 2021.

Barbara worked as a driver for PTL, Southwest Transport, and the Board of Education. She liked to read and cook for family get togethers. She was a talented seamstress and liked to sew. Barbara also enjoyed going shopping and loved to find a good deal at yard sales and thrift stores. She was a member of Crump Baptist Church in Crump, Tennessee and also attended Pyburn Union Church in Savannah, Tennessee.

Barbara Ann Holden Cooper departed this life on June 27, 2025 in Adamsville, Tennessee, at the age of 82 years, 10 months, and 4 days.

She is survived by her sons, Greg Cooper (Sharon) and Henry Charles Cooper (Rhonda), all of Savannah, Tennessee; sister, Janet Howard of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Eric Cooper (Jimmi Lynn), Charles Cooper (Lisa), Dustin Cooper (Melissa), and Jordan Cooper; great grandchildren, Lareia Barnett (Brandon), Cody Qualls (Laura), Dexter Cooper, Annaleigh Cooper, Annabelle Haynes, Nicholas Haynes, and Baby Boy Cooper, due in November; great great grandchildren, Emma Risner, Hudson Barnett, and Kayson Barnett; and Bryton King, who Barbara loved like a grandson.

In addition to her husband and parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Holden.
