BARBARA CROWE
Bethel Springs, TN: Barbara Sue Spencer Crowe, age 70 passed away October 16, 2022 at her home.
She was born March 19, 1952 in Chester County, the daughter of the late Elmer “Bud” Spencer and the late Wanda Smith Spencer. She attended Chester County Schools.
She was a seamstress having worked at Chester County Sportswear, a factory at Enville and later worked several years as a caregiver for several people.
She loved working in her flower beds and was a faithful member of the New Beginning Church.
Mrs. Crowe is survived by her husband, Freddie Wayne Crowe of Bethel Springs; a son, Donnie Webb of Bethel Springs and three sisters, Patricia Montgomery (Sammy) of Henderson, Carolyn Wright (Harold Wayne) of Enville and Joyce Morris (Jerry Wayne) of Jacks Creek.
She was preceded in death by a brother, James Gilbert Spencer.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, October 20th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Chris Kitchen officiating. Burial will follow in Sweetlips Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 11:00 AM Thursday until 2:00 PM service time.
