Barbara Jean Grimes

Barbara Jean Woldhagen Grimes was born September 2, 1928 in San Jose, California, the daughter of the late Stanley and Elanor Marie Tulburg Woldhagen. Mrs. Grimes departed this life Sunday, December 14, 2008 aat her home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 3 Months, 12 Days. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Grimes was preceded in death by her husband Walter (Bud) Grimes and a brother, Mark Woldhagen. Mrs. Grimes, a homemaker, had worked in the cafeteria at Wayne County High School and was a member of the Church of Christ.She is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Patti) Dodson of Waynesboro, TN; three sons, David Grimes of Waynesboro, TN, Stanley Grimes of Santee, CA, Richard Grimes of Lawrenceburg, TN; 11 grandchildren, Kambria, Shawnee, Joshua, Michael, Lisa, Christopher, Wayne, Shaun, Shannon, Timmy, and Heather16 great-grandchildrenServices will be held Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Bobby Pinckley officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
