Pinson, TN: Barbara Ann Jones, age 73 passed away December 14, 2014 at Van Ayers Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Martin, TN.
She was born August 7, 1941 in Jackson, TN. She lived in many places throughout her life. She worked for Brasher’s for many years until her retirement. She married Bill Jones, Sr. August 14, 1999 and they made their home in Pinson. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Jackson. She loved to shop, loved animals especially her dog Rufus and she also loved to dance and dress up nice.
She is survived by three daughters, Tresea Simms and husband Jack of Alexandria, VA, Lorie Hoque and husband David of Prince George, VA and Kim Cary and husband Alan of Martin, TN; step children, Cathy Butler and husband Randy of Alamo, Michelle Guar and husband Jatin of Germantown, TN, Billy Jones and wife Jenny of Jackson and Danny Ray Jones and wife Freddie of Henderson; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren and two sisters, Joyce Burns and husband Steve of Tupelo, MS and Donna Johnson of Jackson, TN.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday December 17, 2014 at Shackelford Funeral Directors –Johnson Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Horton and burial will follow in Big Springs Cemetery at Pinson, TN.
The family will receive friends at Johnson Chapel 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday.
