Barbara Lankford

Barbara Lankford

was born in Garden City, Michigan on July 20, 1962, the daughter of the late Paul and Mary Helen Irene Milan Wells.

On January 9, 2000, she was united in marriage to Billy Ray Lankford, who survives.

Barbara worked as a nanny in her younger years and also worked as a sales representative for Target. She was loving and caring and she poured her heart and soul into the kids in her life. Barbara loved Jesus and loved her grandkids and great grandkids.

She departed this life on Monday, May 26, 2025 in Crump, Tennessee at the age of 62 years, 10 months, and 6 days.

In addition to her husband of 25 years, Billy of Crump, Tennessee, Barbara is survived by her children, Jessica Barthalomew (Thomas) of Crump, Tennessee, Paige Boyer (Samantha Holt) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Brandi Gaultney of North Carolina, and Tracy Riding of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Paulette Wilson and Jeanne Frazier; and brother, Gary Wells (Vicki).

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Irene Wells; son, Billy Lankford; son-in-law, Rush Mayfield; and brothers-in-law, Frank Wilson and Norm Frazier.
