Barbara Ann March

Barbara Ann March was born December 27, 1939 in Tampa, FL the daughter of the late Kenneth James and Gertrude Johnson Foote.

Mrs. March took great pride in taking care of her home and family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her home was often full of friends, conversation and a great cup of coffee. It was often said her home was the local coffee shop.

She was a strong willed lady with a beautiful heart and soul.

Mrs. March departed this life on November 16, 2016 in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 10 Months, 20 Days. She is survived by four daughters: Barbara Jean Strickland of Corinth, MS, Amy Darlene Stone (Alton) of Crump, TN, Melinda Ann Strickland (Larry) of Michie, TN, and Vickie Lynn Eidson (Johnny) of Humboldt, TN; a son, Richard March (Laura) of Counce, TN; a brother, Bill Foote (Phyllis) of Dave City, FL; a sister, Joyce Houston (Phillip) of Tampa, FL; twelve grandchildren: Jeramy, Johnathon, Misty, David, Randy, Anita, Paco, Brian, Brandi, Becky, Amanda, and Michael; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. March was preceded in death by her first husband, George Arthur Strickland, Sr.; second husband, Leslie Richard March, Sr.; a son, George Arthur Strickland, Jr.; a daughter, Peggy Annette Giovo; a grandson, George Arthur Strickland, III; a great-grandson, Skylar Blake Giovo; two brothers, Royce and Kenny Foote; and four sisters: Betty Baker, Fannie Townsand, Nancy Hayre, and Doris Minter.
