Barbara Ruth McEowen Khan

Barbara Ruth McEowen Khan was born March 4, 1925 in Greenville, OH the daughter of the late Fred A. and Naomi Hufnagel McEowen.

Mrs. Khan was a homemaker. She had lived in Las Cruces, New Mexico and Greenville, OH before making her home in Adamsville, TN. She was in the
U.S. Army Nurse Corp for two years. She was a member of the Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Savannah, Tennessee, Daughters of the American Revolution and Order of the Eastern Star in Adamsville, TN.

Mrs. Khan departed this life on December 2, 2015 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 8 Months, 28 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Jean Ann (Lyons) Gunn and husband George of Morris Chapel, TN; daughter-in-law, Sommai Lyons of Pensacola, FL; four grandchildren, Deanna Lynn Tudorancea, Susan Michelle Siddiqui, John Michael Lyons, Jennifer Ann (Lyons) Todd; eight great grandchildren, Jonathan Winskie, Noora Siddiqui, Ikhlas Siddiqui, Robia Siddiqui, Safaa Siddiqui, Anthony Tudorancea, Rachel Tudorancea, Erick Tudorancea.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Khan was preceded in death by a son, John Paul Lyons, Jr.; a sister, Mary N. McGriff.

Eucharist services were held on December 7, 2015 at 6:00 PM at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Savannah, Tennessee, with Father Francis Chiawa officiating.
