Barbara Odom passed away Sunday afternoon, February 21, 2010 at Methodist Hospital in Germantown.
The widow of Ralph Odom, who passed away March 1, 1975 after 32 years of marriage, she was a homemaker. A native of Steve, Arkansas, she was born March 11, 1927 to the late John Samuel Jackson Parsons and Cora Lee Petty Parsons and she enjoyed sewing. Mrs. Odom lived in Middleton since 1960 and was a member of Middleton Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Bodiford and husband, Teddy of Middleton, Brenda Anderson of Horn Lake, MS; a son, Don Odom, and his wife, Patricia Ann of Houston, TX; three sisters, Faye Hansberger, Joyce Brown, Jackie Goodman; five grandchildren, Bobby and Mark Odom, Todd Bodiford, Amy Mercer, and Tommy Seawright; and seven great grandchildren, Tyler, Blaine, and Kayla Mercer, Mitchell Bodiford, Sophia Seawright, and Mason and Hayden Odom. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded by a grandson, Shane Bodiford, and three sisters, Dovie Wells, Ella Thomas, and Louise Barrick.
