Barbara Sappington

Barbara Sappington was born on July 21, 1945 in Okolona, Mississippi, the daughter of the late J.W. Jolly and Lucille Abbott.

Barbara retired from the nursing field where she worked as a licensed practical nurse. She loved flowers, working in the yard, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Barbara Sappington departed this life on August 19, 2023 in Scotts Hill, Tennessee at the age of 78 years and 29 days.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Holly of Scotts Hill, Tennessee; son, Joseph Sappington of Clarmore, Oklahoma: sister, Myrtle Lee Terry of Scotts Hill, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jessica Hall, David Lee Terry, Jordan Sappington, Joleigh Sappington, and Justice Sappington; and great grandchildren, Harmony Hall and Layla Hall.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Pinson.
