Barb Senzig, cherished wife, loving mother, and devoted daughter, passed away at her home in Byron, Georgia, on September 17, 2024, at the age of 55. Born on September 6, 1969, in Ripley, Mississippi, Barb brought joy and warmth to every life she touched.
Barb was not just her name; she was a vibrant spirit who loved life and embraced it wholeheartedly. Her family was her pride and joy, and her love for them was boundless. She shared a beautiful life with her husband, Kurt Senzig, since their marriage in 2015, and together they created a loving home where laughter and memories flourished. As a mother, Barb was dedicated to her sons, Alexander Joseph Buehler and Zachary William Buehler, whom she adored and supported in every way.
Barb's adventurous soul often led her on unforgettable girl trips, where she forged friendships that would last a lifetime. She found immense joy in the company of her dog, Hoshi, who was her beloved companion and comfort. Barb also delighted in camping trips, where she could bask in nature, and cherished moments spent shopping with her mother, Ann Shearon. It was these simple yet meaningful experiences that colored her life with happiness.
She is survived by her loving family: her husband, Kurt Senzig of Byron, GA; her sons, Alexander and Zachary; her mother, Ann Shearon of Pocahontas, TN; her stepsister, Marilyn Jones of Memphis; and her stepbrothers, Barry Shearon of Memphis and Landon Shearon of Pocahontas.
Barb is preceded in death by her father, Billy Shearon, and her brother, Fabian Forsythe. Their memories will forever be intertwined with the legacy of love and joy she leaves behind.
A special interment service will take place on September 21, 2024, at Oak Grove Independent Methodist Church Cemetery in Pocahontas, TN. Memorial contributions in her name may be sent to the Lydia Project in August, GA (www.thelydiaproject.org)
