Barry Shelton

Barry Shelton was born February 7, 1943 in Hazel Green, KY the son of C.M. Hughes and Viola Gabbard Hughes. He was united in marriage to Evalee Hicks on April 15, 1964.
Mr. Shelton was a Master Sergeant for 20 years in the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force, he along with his wife and two children were stationed all over the states and world.
After he retired from the Air Force, he worked for the United States Postal Service for 17 years. He was a member of Ramer Baptist Church and American Legion Post 97 in Adamsville, TN. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, painting, and loved life and people.
Mr. Shelton departed this life on May 11, 2020 in Ramer, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 3 Months, 4 Days. He is survived by his wife Evalee Shelton of Ramer, TN; a daughter, Heather Lambert and husband Jeff of Murfreesboro, TN; five grandchildren, Natalie Gum, Olivia Gum, Krystle Lambert, Jeff Lambert Jr., Justin Lambert; six great-grandchildren; and close friends, Rick Stowe and Dale Monnard.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by a son, Hugh Shelton; a daughter-in-law, Helen Shelton.
