Beatrice Hodge

Mrs. Beatrice Cofer Hodge of Hornsby departed this life at the age of

91 years Thursday afternoon, February 14, 2013 at Bolivar General

Hospital.



A native of Hardeman County, Mrs. Hodge was born May 16, 1921

to the late Walter Eugene and Lola Beatrice Burnett Cofer. On

December 17, 1941, she was united in marriage to Aubrey R.

Hodge, who preceded her in death December 17, 1966. She worked

as a dietary supervisor at Western Mental Health Institute, retiring

after 26 years of employement. Mrs. Hodge loved gardening and

was a member of Hornsby Baptist Church.



Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Hodge of Hornsby; a son,

Richard Hodge and wife Debra of Bolivar; a sister, Annie Mae Kirk of

Hornsby; a brother, Joe Cofer of Bolivar; three grandchildren, Chris

Hodge, Jana Hodge and Jennifer Williams; and eight great-

grandchildren, Hannah, Hailey, Alex and Austin Hodge, Olivia &

Warren Hodge, and Lilly & Ellie Williams.



In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by

a brother, Gene Cofer of Hornsby, and a sister, Lucy Howell of

Memphis.
