Ben Hardin Garrard

BEN HARDIN GARRARD
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 29, 1934 the son of the late Hardin and Marie Rhodes Garrard. On February 22, 1957 he was united in marriage to the former Geneva Franks who preceded him in death on January 23, 2005.
Mr. Garrard lived in Hardin County all of his life and he was a self employed mechanic. He enjoyed working on old vehicles and especially enjoyed cooking for his grandchildren. Mr. Garrard was of the Baptist Belief.
He departed this life on November 12, 2016 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 82 years and 14 days.
Mr. Garrard is survived by his two sons, Rickey Garrard of Savannah, Tennessee and Billy Garrard and his wife Sherry of Savannah, Tennessee.

his grandchildren, Jeffrey Garrard, Brittany Umphrey, Brandon Garrard, Shannon Garrard, Kara Garrard, Nicholas Garrard, Jeremiah Garrard and Hannah Garrard
five step grandchildren, Trina Brown, Timmy Anderson, Kerry Anderson, Lori-Lynn Anderson and Lee Ann Beckham
10 great grandchildren
one brother, Rex Garrard of Collierville, Tennessee and one half brother, Kenneth Frazier and his wife Mary Jo of Savannah, Tennessee.
Other than his wife, Mr. Garrard was preceded in death by his parents.
