Benjamin M. Hill

Benjamin M. Hill, Jr. was born October 24, 1936 in Alcorn County, MS the son of the late Benjamin Sr. and Annie Burcham Hill.

Mr. Hill was a member of the Cypress Tank Church of Christ. He was a carpenter by trade. Mr. Hill enjoyed visiting with his family. He liked raising his chickens and he enjoyed fishing and gardening. Mr. Hill proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Mr. Hill departed this life on October 6, 2015 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 11 Months, 12 Days. He is survived by his wife Sue Newcomb Hill of Ramer, TN; a daughter, Tina Yarbrough and husband Michael of Memphis, TN; a son, Tim Hill and wife Diane of Ramer, TN; a sister, Bertha Dickey of Corinth, MS; four granchildren, Alex Hill, Morgan Kinchen, Erin Hill, and Trae Kinchen; three step-children, Allen, Steven and Gail McCoy; as well as a host of step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Everett Hill on August 16, 1990; a daughter, Tammy Kinchen; and three sisters, Vennie Hill, Emma Newcomb, Eva Massey; and five brothers, Harvey, Walter, Andrew, W.L. and Carvil Hill.
