Bennie "Jean" Simmons

BENNIE " JEAN" SIMMONS

was born in Texas on April 3, 1941 the daughter of the late Henry James and Maxell Evelyn Karnes Simmons.

Jean, as she was known by everyone, lived in Hardin County most of her life and was a member of Olivet Pentecostal Church. She loved playing the guitar and singing.

Jean departed this life on Monday, November 9, 2020 in Florence, Alabama at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 6 days.

She is survived by her sisters, Maxine Evelyn Norris, Billie Sue Ray, and Carolyn Ann Mancil; and a host of nieces and nephews.
