Mrs. Berl McKee Kirk, age 96 of Bolivar, passed from this life Tuesday afternoon, March 20, 2012 at Bolivar General Hospital.
She was born in Hardeman County September 7, 1915 to the late Willie Virginia Pipkin and Jack McKee. She was united in marriage to Clifford Kirk January 28, 1939. Mr. Kirk preceded her in death October 28, 1996 after 57 years of marriage. The retired owner and operator of Berl's Style Shop in Bolivar, she lived all her life in Hardeman County and was a member of Dixie Hills Baptist Church.
Mrs. Kirk is survived by a grandson, Devon Kirk and wife Lori; two granddaughters, Marisa and Kaela Kirk; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Cox Kirk; and a sister, Helen Bryant.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Bobby Eugene Kirk; an infant son, five brothers, Olion, Ulas, Gordon, George and Pete McKee; and two sisters, Deona Hathcock and Remer Harbin.
