Bess Cook

Bess Taylor Cook 88, passed away July 8, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee. She was born June 30, 1935 in Selmer, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Grant Taylor and Hazel McCullar Kinchen.

She was a member of Mount Herman Baptist Church. Bess enjoyed reading a good book, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. 

She is survived by her daughter Lynne Weaks of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Steven Martin and his wife Ann of Marietta, Georgia; grandson, Zack Weaks; granddaughters, Lindsey Weaks, Rachel Martin, and Camille Martin; great grandsons, Logan Weaks, Ryan Weaks, Hayden Weaks, and Conner Weaks; sisters, Rhonda Mooney and Janice Browder; and brother, Robert Kinchen.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marvin Cook , Bess was preceded in death by her son, Brian Martin; and sister, Glenda Armstrong.
