Bessie Robbins

Henderson, TN: Bessie Ruth Hale Robbins, age 85 passed away November 14, 2011 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.She was born and reared in Jackson, TN the daughter of the late Irvin and Callie Wheeler Hale. She went to school in Madison County. She married Charles L. Robbins of Jackson in 1942. They made their home in Jackson until 1950 when they moved to Chicago and moved back to Tennessee in 1983. She worked in the Home Health field while in Tennessee. She loved making ceramics for her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother.She is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Owens of Chicago, IL, Donely Butts of Henderson and Deborah Wise of Lititz, PA; three sons, Charles Jr. Robbins of Las Vegas, NV, Quinton Robbins of Henderson and George Robbins of Niles, IL; twenty eight grandchildren and two sisters, Glady Plodzien of Henderson and Helen Levitt of FL.
