Beth Henry Ray

Beth Henry Ray was born April 6, 1959 in Selmer, TN, the daughter of the late Derucie and Jo Ann Powers Henry. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Henderson, TN. Beth had worked for McNairy County General Hospital; then at Jackson Madison County General Hospital for 30 years; and for Tennova Healthcare - Regional in Jackson before becoming ill. Beth had a love for life that spread to everyone around her. She enjoyed TN sports, all things purple and loved her family.

Mrs. Ray departed this life on December 28, 2017 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 58 Years, 8 Months, 22 Days.

She is survived by two sons, Christopher Alan Ray of Henderson, TN, Jonathan Wesley Ray of Knoxville, TN; three brothers: Sammy Henry and wife Betty Ann of Bethel Springs, TN, Tim Henry and wife Janie of Selmer, TN, Todd Henry and wife Christi of Nashville, TN; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM and on Sunday from 12:00 until services at 1:00 PM, all held at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer. 731-645-3481 In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children Research.
