Betty Jean Blount

BETTY JEAN BLOUNT

was born in Waynesboro, Tennessee on May 20, 1951 the daughter of T. J. and Louise Caperton Blount.

Betty worked for Rexall Drug Store for 17 years and Walmart, where she was an assistant manager for 20 plus years. She was a member of Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Betty loved all types of needlework and crafts and was a member of the Hardin County Quilting Club. She also was a volunteer for Hardin Medical Center Auxiliary. One of Betty's loves was her sweet dog "Belle".

She departed this life on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 68 years, 10 months and 11 days.

Betty is survived by one sister, Jan Mintz of Savannah, Tennessee; brother, Tommy Blount of Jackson, Tennessee; nephews, Michael Blount and Jason Blount; great nieces, Sarah Blount and Chloe Blount; and great nephews, T. J. Blount and Will Blount.
