BETTY A. BRYSON
Henderson, TN: Betty A. Ham Bryson age 82 passed away May 26, 2017 at her home.

She was born December 18, 1934 in Shelby County, the daughter of the late Otto Herman Ham, Sr. and Sadie Irine Pleasents Ham. She was educated in Shelby County Schools and was married to Eddie Bryson. They made their home in Memphis before moving to Chester County. She was a member of the Frazier Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bryson is survived by her husband, Eddie Bryson of Henderson; two daughters, Holly Guest of Marvell, AR and Lisa Dozier of Whitleyville, TN; two sons, Sam Bryson of Memphis and David Bryson; nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, William F. Hurst; two sisters, Mary E. Ham and Vivian Furtick and a brother, Otto Herman Ham, Jr.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday, June 2, 2017 at Cave Springs Cemetery with Skippy Rowland officiating.

The family will receive friends at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson Chapel beginning at 12 Noon Friday until 1:30 PM Friday.
