Betty Sue Burney of Selmer, TN was born May 16, 1939 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Jessie Elmer Peak and Rebecca Elizabeth Sweat Peak. She was united in marriage to James M. Stedman who preceded her in death. She was a Homemaker. Ms. Burney departed this life on January 5, 2018 in Jackson, TN at the age of 78 Years, 7 Months, 20 Days.
She is survived by two sons, Barry Stedman and wife Regina of Ramer, TN, James (Rob) Stedman and wife Penny of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Sheri Stedman of Senath, MO; 7 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren; a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Burney was preceded in death by a brother, Jessie Orlan Peak.
