Graveside Service for Betty Jewel Johnson Casteel, age 73, of Hohenwald will be held on September 17, 2010 at Prater's Chapel Cemetery near Clifton with Marty Potts officiating. Interment following services with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
She was born April 16, 1937 in Middlesboro, Kentucky the daughter of the late George and Ethel Money Johnson. Mrs. Casteel departed this life on September 13, 2010 at NHC in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 4 Months, 28 Days. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Casteel was preceded in death by her husband; William F. Casteel; and a daughter, Lois Smith.
She was a waitress and a factory worker.
She is survived by five sons, William, Michael, Ricky, and Jimmy Casteel all of Conroe, TX, and Donald Casteel of Nashville, TN; two daughters, Judy Tidwell of Hohenwald, TN and Alisha Casteel of Clifton, TN; twenty-four grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
