Betty Ann Kelley Collins, 80, of Saltillo, Tennessee, died Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital, at the age of 80 years, 9 months, and 18 days.
She was born in Hardin County on February 29, 1936, the daughter of the late Oscar and Ethel Meadows Kelley.
On March 15, 1953, she was united in marriage to Robert Franklin Collins, who survives.
Mrs. Collins worked as a seamstress for H.I.S. Manufacturing in Saltillo, Tennessee for 39 years. She was an active member of the Saltillo Church of Christ. She loved flowers, quilting, and decorating.
In addition to her husband of 64 years, she is survived by: a daughter, Charlotte Ross and her husband David of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; a son, Dale Collins and his wife Susan of Nashville, Tennessee; a brother, Edward Kelley and his wife Nancy of Memphis, Tennessee; a sister, Edna Little of Sardis, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Jennifer Channell and her husband David of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, Robby Ross of Fort Worth, Texas, and Zachary Collins and his wife Shelbie of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and her great-grandchildren, Ashley and Kailee Channell of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, and Aubrey Dewitt of Lawton, Oklahoma.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant son, two brothers, Billy and Roy Kelley, and four sisters, Dorthy Maness, Helen Roland, Martha Jo Delaney, and Alice Nell Kelley.
