Betty Ann Helton

Ms. Betty Ann Jones Helton was born December 5, 1942 in Waynesboro, TN to the union of the late Andrew Gerald and Arland Iris Keeton Jones. She was united in marriage to William Thomas Helton on October 5, 1972. Mr. Helton preceded her in death on August 26, 2000. Mrs. Helton was a Housewife, a member of the First Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee and a board member of the William Thomas Helton Foundation.Mrs. Helton departed this life on March 10, 2019 at her home in Waynesboro, Tennessee making her stay on this earth 76 Years, 3 Months and 5 Days.

She is survived by two sons, Andrew Thomas Helton of Waynesboro, TN, Matthew Douglas Helton of Florence, AL; a brother, Stephen Jones of Grand Junction, CO; two sisters, Linda Karpati of Waynesboro, TN, Arland Kay Balentine of Collinwood, TN; and three grandchildren, Isaac Helton, Zoey Helton and Fiona Helton.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Helton was preceded in death by
her husband of 27 years William Thomas Helton;two brothers, David A Jones, Gerald W Jones; and a sister, Iris Kaye White.

Services will be held on March 13, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Jeff Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Waynesboro Memorial Gardens.
