Betty Loyd Hill

Betty Loyd Hill was born October 7, 1928 in Finger, TN the daughter of the late Jessie James and Jonnie Cordelia Russell Wilson.

She was united in marriage to Cratis William Hill on December 25, 1946. Mr. Hill preceded her in death on May 25, 2014.

Mrs. Hill was a homemaker and loved people. She was a member of the Middleton Church Of Christ in Middleton, Tennessee for over 20 years and before that she was a member at Refuge Church of Christ in Bethel Springs, Tennessee.

Mrs. Hill departed this life on February 3, 2015 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 3 Months, 27 Days. She is survived by three daughters, Betty J. White of Selmer, TN, Alice Sackmaster of Selmer, TN, Freda Hill of Selmer, TN; two sons, Joe Neal Hill and wife Teresa of Selmer, TN, David William Hill and wife Tammy of Bainbridge, GA; an honorary son, Pete Ellis; a sister, Helen Vaughn of Selmer, TN; 18 grandchildren, Bobby, Jamie, Brian, Chris, George, Joey, Cody, Thomas, Timothy, Jonathan, Kevin, Freddie, Tracy, April, Jaclyn, Christina, Gabe, and Felicia; 33 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by son-in-law, James Harold White; a great-grandchild, Allison Paige Hodge; two sisters, Opal Kiser, Myrtle Hill; four brothers, Jesse Variman Wilson, Andrew Joycie Wilson, David Crocket Wilson, James Edward Wilson.
