Betty Sue Hoover

Betty Sue Steele Hoover was born August 14, 1935 in Selmer, TN, the daughter of the late Roscoe and Clevie Willis Steele.

She was united in marriage to Tony Auzenne on October 2, 1987. She was a 1952 graduate of Selmer High School and was very proud to be a cheerleader for 1952 basketball team that won state. Betty is a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Franklin, TN and a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority of Franklin.

Mrs. Hoover departed this life on June 28, 2015 in Iuka, Mississippi at the age of 79 Years, 10 Months, 14 Days.

She is survived by her husband Tony Auzenne of Iuka, MS; two sons, Dr. Jeffery N. Hoover and wife Sydney of Memphis, TN, Dan Edmondson Hoover and wife Sidney of Franklin, TN; a daughter, Susan Hoover Cook and husband David of Nashville, TN; a stepson, Stacy Auzenne of Alexandria, LA; a step daughter, Monique Smith of Shreveport, LA; eight grandchildren: Patrick Hoover, Clay Hoover, Jessica Grider, Grace Cook, Olivia Cook, Kirsten Hoover, Michael Nguyen, Vivian Nguyen; six great grandchildren: Davis Grider, Sydney Nguyen, Sylvia Nguyen, Audrey Nguyen, April Nguyen and Gabriel Nguyen; step grandchildren, Christopher Auzenne, Jennifer Auzenne, Brooke Smith and Marleigh Smith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs Hoover was preceded in death by a son, Christopher H. Hoover.

Visitation will be held on July 2, 2015 from 11 am until services at 2 pm, all held at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin, TN, with Rev. Jim Taylor officiating.
