Betty Jo Devers Lawson

Betty Jo Devers Lawson of Walker, LA was born June 9, 1940 in Wayne County, TN the daughter of the late Charles H. and Aileen Weaver Devers Long. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Charles H. Devers. Mrs. Lawson departed this life on October 9, 2017 at her home in Walker, Louisiana at the age of 77 Years, 4 Months. She was a customer service representative at Service Merchandise and a member of Victory Baptist Church in Walker, LA.

She is survived by a son, Tim Lawson and wife Renee, grandson, Tim Lawson, Jr., and a brother, Ronnie Devers all of Walker, LA, a sister, Glenda Horton and her husband Nathaniel of Collinwood, TN.

Services will be Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood with David Lowery officiating. Burial following in Collinwood Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Family requests in lieu of flowers memorial donations be given to St Jude Children's Hospital or Victory Baptist Church in Walker, LA.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
