Betty Sue Littleton

Betty Sue Weeks Littleton of Iron City, TN, was born August 3, 1943 in Wayne Co., TN, the daughter of the late Coy L. and Ollie Mae Wright Weeks. She was united in marriage to William Crawford Littleton on October 12, 1963.

Mrs. Littleton was a former factory worker and had most recently worked as a housekeeper at Wayne Care Nursing Home. She was a member of the Cornerstone Church in Collinwood, Tennessee.

Mrs. Littleton departed this life on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 7 Months, 8 Days.

She is survived by her husband, William Crawford Littleton; daughters, Darlene Jackson and husband, Ricky and Tabriya Keeann Weeks all of Iron City, TN; grandchildren, Candice Hope Thompson and husband, Justin, Bradley Richard Jackson and wife, Natosha and Whitney Brooke Jackson; great-grandchildren, Landon and Araya Hope Thompson and Brayden Bradley Jackson; a brother, Coy Weeks Jr. and wife, Dianne of Iron City, TN; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Littleton was preceded in death by brothers, Donald Vickery and Jerry and Franklin Weeks.

Services will be Friday, March 14, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Jimmy Martin and John Hodum officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Daniel Graves, David Thompson, Samuel Hodum, Jeremy Thompson, Jarred Borden, and James Mitchell.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 5 pm to 9 pm and Friday, March 14, 2014 from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be given to Cornerstone Church, 861 Dogwood Flats Road, Collinwood, TN 38450.
