Mrs. Maness passed from this life Wednesday, July 1 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The wife of James Maness, who survives, she was a homemaker. She was born to Faye Thrasher Brooks of Medon and the late Martin Brooks and lived in this area for over 45 years. She was a member of Big Springs Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, whom she married on February 17, 1978, and her mother, survivors include a son and his fiance', Mathew Maness and Cristie Lynn Brown of Medon; a step son, Jimmy Maness of Medon; a sister, Sheila Duncan Dean of Lexington; her mother in law, Margaret Maness of Medon; and several nieces and nephews.
