Betty McLin was born on June 8, 1944, the daughter of the late Bill and Mary Lillian Johnson Mayhall. On November 4, 1992 she was united in marriage to J. C. (Jake) McLin, who survives. Mrs. McLin was a retired production worker from Hamilton Plastics in Pickwick, TN, where she had worked for 10 years and was a member of the New Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. She loved her husband and children, loved to play bingo, and enjoyed reading her Bible and listening to Gospel music.She departed this life at the Hardin Medical Center on August 25, 2011 at the age of 67 years, 2 months, and 17 days. In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 daughters: Berretta Glissen and Christy Hamm, both of Savannah, TN; a son, Chuck Glissen of Appleton, WI; 2 stepdaughters, Helen Beckham and Jane Deshaizer, both of Savannah, TN; 4 stepsons, Danny McLin of Collinwood, TN, and Kenny, Tony, and Billy McLin all of Savannah: 1 sister, Brenda Kay Parvin and husband Jerry of Counce, TN.6 grandchildren: Amy Elizabeth Brown, Augustus Octavian Baugus, Augustina Ruth Glissen, William Justin Hamm, Tasha Michelle Hamm, and Bradley Craig Hamm; and 22 step-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Mayhall, and 1 step son, Jim McLin.
