Betty Owen Montgomery departed this life on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at the age of 67 years, 10 months and 14 days. She was born in Jackson, Tennessee on December 14, 1947, the daughter of the late Harry and Mildred Foster Owen. On April 24, 2002, she was united in marriage to John Montgomery, who survives.
Betty was self-employed, running her own cleaning service. She loved her grandchildren, people and they loved her.
She is survived by her husband, John Montgomery of Michie, Tennessee; children, Eddie Bruce Force, II of Michie, Tennessee and Michelle Reed of Covington, Tennessee; nine grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Colleen Criner of Proctor, Arkansas and Joyce Fawver of Smyrna, Tennessee; brother, Gene Owen of Germantown, Tennessee; several nieces, nephews, and dear dear friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Shane Cox and a daughter, Angela Dawn Benson.
A special thanks to granddaughter, Star Benson for her loving care throughout Betty's illness.
