Betty Jane Goodrum Morris was born December 28, 1948 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late John Harmon and Daisy Lowrance Goodrum.
She was united in marriage to Jerry Morris who survives.
Mrs. Morris was a homemakerand a member of the Piney Grove church of God. She loved camping and fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Morris departed this life on August 10, 2010 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 61 Years, 7 Months, 13 Days. She is survived by her husband Jerry Morris of Selmer, TN; two daughters, Debbie Pearson and husband Jamey of Bethel Springs, TN, and Jennifer Dawson and husband Dale of Bethel Springs, TN; three stepdaughters, Regina Austin and husband Wayne of Whiteville, TN, Adonna Mothershed of Jackson, TN, and Chrystal Barnes and husband Daniel of Henderson, TN; two stepsons, Richard Morris and wife Kriste of Brownsville, TN, Jerry A. Morris II and wife Kim of Henderson, TN; two sisters, Frances Atkinson of Selmer, TN and Eyvon Lambert and husband Darrell of Selmer, TN; two brothers, Charles Goodrum and wife Junell of Selmer, TN and John Curtis Goodrum and wife Daisy of Selmer, TN; and five grandchildren, Kelsey Smith, Brennan Smith, Ashlyn Smith, Madelyn Pearson, and Trey Pearson.
In addition to her parents, Mrs Morris was preceded in death by a stepson, Jerry Benton Morris; and two brothers, Wayne Goodrum and O'neal Goodrum.
She was united in marriage to Jerry Morris who survives.
