Betty Ann Powell

Betty Ann Powell was born October 18, 1954 in Jackson, TN, the daughter of the late Landoff Hickman and Ruby Pearl Smith Hickman.

She was united in marriage to Thomas Deward Powell on April 7, 1982. Mr. Powell preceded her in death on September 28, 2020. She was a member of Believer's Church in Selmer. She enjoyed watching westerns and spending time with family.

Mrs. Powell departed this life on December 24, 2021 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 67 Years, 2 Months, 6 Days.

She is survived by three sons, Bill Wyte and wife Bobbette of Gaffney, SC, Jesse Wyte and wife April of Selmer, TN, Charlie Wyte and wife Presley of Ramer, TN; a sister, Linda Russell; two brothers, Tony and Randy Hickman all of Selmer, TN; 14 grandchildren, Austin Wyte, Alexis Wyte, Saddie Weaver, James Weaver, Dixon Wyte, Haven Wyte, Tyler Gantt, Haley Gantt, Chloe Gantt, Jesse Wyte Jr., Samantha Shaw, Colton Wyte, Averianna Wyte and Jagger Reecer; 6 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
