Betty Loyd Reeves

Betty Loyd Reeves was born July 10, 1934 in Redbay, AL the daughter of the late Clarence Houston and Lona Bell Jackson Sartin.

She was united in marriage to Walter Jack Reeves on March 25, 2005.

Mrs. Reeves was a surgical nurse for many years at Scenic Mountain Hospital in Big Spring, Texas. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, reading, sewing and very active in church groups. She was a member of the Bethel Springs Church of God of Prophecy in Bethel Springs, Tennessee.

Mrs. Reeves departed this life on January 25, 2014 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 6 Months, 15 Days. She is survived by her husband Jack Reeves of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Carol Lawrence and husband Peter of Glenpool, OK; two sons, Barry Loyd and wife Lana of Midland, TX, Todd Loyd and wife Barbara of Union, KY; two brothers, Harold Sartin of Dyersburg, TN, David Sartin and wife Jan of Chattanooga, TN; seven grandchildren, Dawn M. Hunter, Nikki Heard, Joshua Loyd, Timmy Weaver, Max Loyd, Erica Loyd, Anna Loyd; six great grandchildren, Lauren Holder, Rachel Stabler, Tanner Lawrence, Aileen Heard, Jacob Weaver, Rachel Loyd; host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs Reeves was preceded in death by a sister, Gerry Williams.
