Betty Broughton Reynolds

Betty Broughton Reynolds was born on July 21, 1929 the daughter of the late Alford and Mae Ward Broughton in Leicester, England. She went to school in Leicester, England.

She married an American soldier, Raymond Reynolds on July 25, 1945. He returned to the states in 1945 with his English bride. Mr. Reynolds preceded her in death on September 6, 2006.

Mrs. Reynolds worked at Levi Strauss in Ramer, TN as a quality control inspector and supervisor. She was a longtime active member of the Friendship Baptist Church. She loved cooking for her family, reading, and making beautiful quilts for her family.

She traveled to England every other year to visit her family and friends, due to health reasons her last visit was three years ago. Along with her special and best friend, Glenda Barron they would go on bus tour trips.

Mrs. Reynolds departed this life on June 7, 2016 in Ramer, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 10 Months, 17 Days. She is survived by two sons, Maurice Ray Reynolds and wife Margaret of Ramer, TN, Don Howard Reynolds and wife Donna of Ramer, TN; a brother, Michael Broughton and wife Janet of Leicester, England; three grandchildren, Jeff Reynolds and wife Gina of Frisco, TX, Jeremy Reynolds and wife Rebecca of Bartlett, TN, Skye Vickers of Bartlett, TN; six great grandchildren, Jordan, Dylan, and Peyton Reynolds, Caleb Reynolds, Annabelle and Henry Vickers; two nieces, Sarah Watts and Julie Girn.
