She was a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church.Betty departed this life on Thursday, April 20, 2006, in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 54 Years, 2 Months, 11 Days.Survivors are her mother Martha Crane of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, her father James Robert Scott of Boring, Oregon, and her grandfather Thomas G. Dickey of Bethel Springs.She was preceded in death by a sister Alice Turner and her stepfather Harold N. Crane.
