Betty Price WilkinsWas born in Mississippi on July 24, 1929 the daughter of the late James Edward and Mary Elizabeth Cupples Price.On May 2, 1953 she was united in marriage to William W. Wilkins. Mrs. Wilkins worked for South Central Bell for 30 years as a business representative. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and also a member of the Eastern Star and the Business and Professional Women. Mrs. Wilkins loved flower gardening and reading.She departed this life on July 20, 2007 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of77 years, 11 months and 26 days.Mrs. Wilkins is survived by her husband, William W. Wilkins of Savannah, Tennessee; a son, Dick Wilkins and his wife, Diann, of Savannah;2 grandchildren: Jennifer Wilkins and Heather Highland;2 step-grandchildren: Luke Pilkinton and Erin Latch;one great-grandchild: Keri Highland and one step-great-grandchild: Laura Ann Pilkinton.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Catherine Morris.
