Bettye Davis

Bettye Savage Davis of Olvie Branch, MS, age 77 passed away Monday, June 13, 2011 at the West Tennessee Veterans Home in Humboldt, TN.Mrs. Davis was originally from Hernando, MS, but for the past 31 years made her home in Olive Branch, MS. She was a member of the Germantown Baptist Church and before that Ridgeway Baptist Church. She was dedicated to her family and church.She is survived by her husband Marcus E. Davis of Olive Branch, MS;two daughters, Sandra Davis Clifton (Pete) of Germantown, TN, Linda Hudson Lauer (Gus) of Collierville, TN; two sons, Ronald Neil Davis (Kathy) of Collierville, TN, Paul Davis of Gulfport, MS; 7 Grandchildren; three sisters, Evelyn Hale of Senatobia, MS, Helen Hurt of Coldwater, MS, Shirley Morgan of Hernando, MS; two brothers, Jack and Heyward Savage both of Hernando, MS; host of many loved nieces and nephews.Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Eula Scott Savage; a brother, William Savage.
