Beulah Jane Butler

Beulah Jane Horton Butler of Collinwood, TN was born July 17, 1915 in Collinwood, TN, the daughter of the late Joe and Ada Daniel Horton. She was united in marriage to Euel E. Butler on May 14, 1933 and he preceded her in death on April 5, 1986.



Mrs. Butler was a homemaker and a member of the Shawnettee United Methodist Church in Collinwood, Tennessee.



Mrs. Butler departed this life on Monday, March 12, 2012 at Wayne Care Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 96 Years, 7 Months, 24 Days.



She is survived by sons, Travis Butler and wife, Sara, Larry Butler and wife, Dianne; a daughter, Marlene Gray and husband, Delbert all of Collinwood, TN; grandchildren, Donita Ray and husband, Orbie, Junior Wooten and wife, Jerri, Susan Pope, Carla Rich and husband, Stan, Paula Ayers, Biff Butler and wife, Bradlee, Kevin Butler and wife, Karla, Jennifer Thrasher and husband, Brian; 20 Great-Grandchildren, 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.



In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by a daughter, Marcia Butler; a grandchild, Juanita Wooten; brothers, Charlie, Eldred, Chester, James, and Clarence Horton; sisters, Elsie Berry, Annie Bryant King.



Services will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 11:00 am at Shawnettee United Methodist Church in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Bo Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Junior Wooten, Biff Butler, Kevin Butler, Orbie Ray, Brian Thrasher, Stan Rich, and Joe Beckham.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Ray, Derek Ray, Evan Jones, Trae Crowder, Kyle Pope, Justin Reaves, Trevin Ayers, Garrett Ayers, Nolan Butler, Evin Butler, Blaine Thrasher, and Torry Thrasher.
