Beulah Marie Skelton Mathis

Beulah Marie (Maw Maw B) Skelton Mathis , Waynesboro, TN was born October 12, 1932 in Wayne Co., TN, the daughter of the late Arthur Clark and Nettie Carroll Skelton. She married Floyd Mathis, March 5, 1949 and he preceded her in death, June 11, 2005. Mrs. Mathis, a retired factory worker/cook, was a member of 48 Creek Freewill Baptist Church, Waynesboro, Tennessee and departed this life, January 9, 2017 at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 2 Months, 28 Days.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Mathis was preceded in death by brothers, Walter, Willie, Herschel, Eddie and Mack Skelton; sisters, Peggy Garrison, Lydia Clayton, Margaret Carroll.

Graveside services will be Friday, January 13, 2017 at Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Cary Crews officiating and Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be David Mathis, Chad Gobbell, Cody Mathis, Jonathan Buie, Stephen Holt, Weston Buie, Ethan Holt and Gage Mathis.

Visitation will be Friday, January 13, 2017 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro, TN.
